Sony Computer Entertainment have announced that the PlayStation 4 exclusive Tearaway Unfolded will be released within Australia from Wednesday 9 September. Developed by the team at Media Molecule (Currently former developers of LittleBigPlanet), Tearaway Unfolded for PlayStation 4 is an expanded retelling of Tearaway on the PlayStation Vita.

In addition to the release date announcement, SCE also confirmed that those who pre-order the game will nab themselves one of the two bonus content packs, consisting of costumes and decorations inspired by other PlayStation titles. The Pop-Up Pack features a shiny Gold Leaf to wear on the headband of your messenger along with an exclusive Journey costume, allowing you to “‘journey’ through the world of Tearaway Unfolded in style”. Fans will also receive five custom decorations from the fantastic Lemmings, Gravity Rush, No Man’s Sky and The Order: 1886 for you to use in creative challenges. Additionally, the official Tearaway Unfolded soundtrack is included, featuring all original tracks from the game.

Journey

To acquire the second pack, you will need to purchase the game’s special “Messenger Edition”. This edition will feature alternate cover art and the bonus Torn-Away Pack. The Torn-Away Pack includes a shining Gold Stamp to be worn on the headband of your messenger, as well as an exclusive God of War costume to wear as you battle your way through Scraps and other enemies .You’ll also get five custom decorations from WWS PlayStation titles: God of War, InFamous, The Last of Us and Killzone and the Pig Crown (as seen in the Vita version).

A special edition of Teraway Unfolded is also in the works and will be available through select stores, and includes an ‘Atoi plushie’, coupled with the Torn Away pack.
