After showcasing Persona 4: Dancing All Night at their E3 2015 booth last week, ATLUS USA have shared some details (and a couple of screenshots) on their upcoming rhythm game. This information pertains to the four primary “modes” / “options” that will be available to you when starting up the game. More information on the four can be found below:
STORY MODE
Even though this is not an RPG like Persona 4 or Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth, ATLUS have still included a story mode in Persona 4: Dancing All Night. Taking place after the events of previous games, this story will follow the Investigation Team as they solve the mystery behind the Midnight Stage – and how it ties in to Rise and her junior group Kanamin Kitchen.
FREE DANCE MODE
Free Dance mode will give you free reign to dance to the game’s song, with the goal of practicing to succeed in story mode and ultimately achieve a high score. You will be able to try out the songs with the difficulty, partner and costume of your choosing. This will also be the only mode where select characters such as Margaret will perform.
SHOPPING
Tanaka’s Amazing Commodities is getting at least one last chance to shine, following its introduction in Persona 3. This is where you will exchange P$ earned from completing songs for costumes and more.
COLLECTION
An assortment of features including a music player, character profiles, a gallery, high scores, online leaderboards and more.
