En Masse Entertainment have recently confirmed that a new collection of 8-bit weapon skins are now selling via TERA Online’s Valkyon Outfitters cash shop.
With a skin for each weapon type, you can pick up either a ‘Qubic Smartbox or a Tetrachromic Smartbox’ and obtain a basic skin design suited to your class. Alternatively, you can purchase a cheaper ‘Retro Lootbox’ or ‘Emulator Lootbox’ for an Instance Reset School, potentially some other useful loot and a small chance at obtaining either a Cathodyne Smartbox or Prismatronic Smartbox. These boxes will allow you to obtain special weapon skins, which come with special effects and designs not found with the guaranteed drop boxes.
In addition to releasing weapon skins, En Masse Entertainment have also released a number of ‘Arcade’ accessories to complete a character’s 8-bit look. These include:
