While it is possible they could change this depending on public perception, Nippon Ichi Software America have today shared their planned cover artwork for Disgaea 5: Alliance of Vengeance via their Facebook page.
Different from the Japanese box art which featured the “character call” artwork produced for every Disgaea game, the US/PAL region cover artwork features a less cluttered piece of artwork which includes just the core characters and the Disgaea 5 logo.
Reception seems to be a bit mixed at this time, following NIS America asking their followers: “What do you think, folks?”. Some evidently prefer the Japanese cover artwork, some like the new English covers and some just seem excited to dive into the game!
