Not many video game franchises can boast that they have lasted fifteen years, but this is the exact milestone that The Creative Assembly’s Total War franchise is celebrating this year. To mark this milestone, the developers have shared a brief three minute trailer highlighting the 11 games which have been launched in the series since conception – from Shogun: Total War (2000) to this year’s Total War: Attila.
The Total War franchise has been always developed by the team at The Creative Assembly, despite having multiple publishers since launch. Kudos must go to the development team for sticking with this series for the long haul while also trying their hand at other IP’s including 2014’s Alien: Isolation.
