When it came to Ubisoft’s annual Assassin’s Creed release of 2014, the company opted to split up the two games by console availability. Rogue was released on the last-generation PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 while Unity was available on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC platforms. There was initially not meant to be any crossover of consoles, but as the months progressed post-launch, Ubisoft finally decided to port Rogue over to the PC.

Today, that port has finally been released to market, and can be purchased via retail outlets and digital distribution channels. The Uplay Store also has a Collector’s Bundle up for grabs, which includes a collector’s box, an artbook, 3 lithographs in an envelope, the original soundtrack and a handful of downloadable goodies.

Assassin’s Creed Rogue takes players to new adventures set in the mid-18th century during the Seven Years War. Starting in 1752, players follow Shay Patrick Cormac, a former member of the Brotherhood who turned into an Assassin Hunter and experience the Assassin’s Creed universe through the eyes of a Templar. Assassin’s Creed Rogue gives players new locations across North America to explore, including the frozen North Atlantic, the Appalachian River Valley and New York. Assassin’s Creed Rogue for Windows PC has been adapted by Ubisoft Kiev.
