Although the PlayStation 4 has been receiving some significant sales figures as it enters its second year, it is hard for me to deny that the console could really benefit from some new exclusive IP’s. One of these new series is The Order: 1886, developed by the California-based team Ready at Dawn. This game is now available via retailers Australia-wide and worldwide, in addition to digitally via the PlayStation Store.
The Order: 1886 stood out when it was first announced for its very interesting take on Victorian-Era England, where although the architecture remains historically accurate, the technology is decades ahead. As Galahad, a member of an elite order of Knights, players are invited join a centuries-old war against a powerful threat that will determine the course of history forever.
To mark this release, Sony Computer Entertainment have also shared two new promotional trailers, both of which can be found at the top and bottom of this post. A review of The Order: 1886 is currently in the works, and will be released on The Otaku’s Study very soon.
