During their press conference earlier today, Nippon Ichi Software America showcased their highly anticipated JRPG release Disgaea 5: Alliance of Vengeance with a new teaser trailer. While they haven’t unveiled snippets of the new English dub yet, the video does highlight three of the main playable characters (Killia, Seraphina, Usalia), in addition to lots of in-game footage.
Disgaea 5 is set for release later this year, and will be the first instalment in the Makai Senki Disgaea franchise to be available on the PlayStation 4 as a console exclusive. NIS America have already confirmed plans for a release in North America and various PAL regions.
The latest home console entry to the legendary Disgaea series tells a tale of revenge, and of rebellion. As a new and terrible Overlord named Void Dark seeks to enslave the countless Netherworlds, one young demon has stood to end his reign—Killia. In Disgaea 5, lead Killia and his tenacious army of rebels on their dark and dangerous path to vengeance. Filled with more over-the-top action and hilarious writing than ever before, Disgaea 5’s damage numbers are surely headed for the record books.
