Bandai Namco Games in Japan have shared a brand new trailer for their upcoming PlayStation 3 / PlayStation Vita release of Sword Art Online: Lost Song. While still based around the characters/concepts introduced in Reki Kawahara’s original light novel, this latest video game will feature a completely new storyline never before explored in novel, manga or game formats.
This almost five minute-long trailer highlights plenty of in-game footage from Lost Song. This includes an brief look at the world of Svart ALfheim and its major hub location “Sky City Line”. Also previewed is the 16-player lobby which players can use to form parties of four to complete online quests, flight action battles, cutscenes with returning and new characters, and traditional on-land battle footage.
Sword Art Online: Lost Song is set for release on March 26th 2015 in Japan. While it is likely that Bandai Namco will announce an official international release of the game at some point in North America and PAL regions, the Asian release of Lost Song is supposedly going to feature English subtitles.
