It’s new mythical Pokémon time!
The Pokémon Company International have this evening revealed Hoopa, a brand new mythical Pokémon who has never been available before in a Pokemon game. Categorized as a Mischief Pokémon, Hoopa is a Psychic- and Ghost-type Pokémon, recognizable by the golden rings that adorn its horns and body. In-game lore states that these golden rings have the power to bend dimensions and move objects across great distances.
It has been confirmed that Hoopa will be distributed in some shape or form through Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire. However, specifics on how a player can either catch or be given a Hoopa is currently unknown.
More details will be announced in the near future… although hopefully they won’t try something as troubling as Nintendo’s distribution of the Eon Ticket, which saw hundreds of fans swarm select EB Games stores for a brief giveaway session.
