Holy Hexagonal Reptillian Reinvention!
Australian publisher Surprise Attack Games alongside developers MAF Games and Touch Touch have today announced that their smartphone app Hexxy Snake is now available on iOS devices. Currently supporting iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch devices; gamers can pick themselves up a copy of the game at a price of $2.99 USD via the App Store.
So what is Hexxy Snake? Surprise Attack Games have described it as a “radical hexagonal reinvention” of a game that many mobile phone owners in the late 90’s and early 2000’s will be familiar with… Snake. Players must steer their hungry hexagonal snake through mazes, touching left or right to steer counter-clockwise or clockwise, as they seek the precious yellow food gems. Each of the stages in the game paints a hex-dot picture that must be navigated at break-neck speed.
This app has launched with 100 stages across four level packs, with plans to add even more stages and a level editor later this year.
