Don’t brother looking for a way to get into the Battlefield Hardline beta test, which is set to take place at an unspecified date in early-2015. This is because Electronic Arts and Visceral Games aren’t going to make gamers fill in redundant forms or plead their case for a spot – instead, everyone who owns a PC, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4 or PlayStation 3 will be invited to take part. While they have yet to confirm a date for the beta test, this news should alleviate at least some concerns.
In addition, they have confirmed that the upcoming beta test will feature two different maps and modes, which will require different strategies and skills to complete. First off is Hotwire, an all-new mode that seeks to merge all-out warfare with all-out speed. The second mode dubbed “Conquest”, involves a 64-player war between Cops and Criminals. While you will only have access to the two modes, Visceral Games won’t be capping level progression.
Battlefield Hardline is set for release from March 19th 2015.
