From its roots on the PC, Minecraft has over these past couple of years spread its reach to pretty much every active Microsoft and Sony gaming platform. A short time ago, Sony Computer Entertainment gave the game its first and possibly only portable console launch on the PlayStation Vita.
While originally only available for purchase digitally via the PlayStation Store, SCE have confirmed that retail copies of Minecraft have now been sent out to stores, and are available for purchase at a retail price of $29.95 AUD.
This PlayStation Vita edition remains almost unchanged from earlier console releases, and allows cross-save compatibility with the PlayStation 3 edition.
