With this weekend’s 2014 Formula 1 Singapore airlines Singapore Grand Prix just around the corner, video game developer Codemasters have released a new hot lap video for F1 2014, showcasing Romain Grosjean taking on the Marina Bay Street circuit in the Lotus E22.
This video highlights the 23 turn circuit set around the Marina Bay lit up by floodlights, paying homage to Singapore hosting the first Formula One event to take place at night in 2008. The circuit is has been described as a true test of stamina and concentration for drivers, taking place on enclosed streets and is the longest race on the calendar, taking nearly two hours to complete in real time.
Published by Bandai Namco Games Australia in both Australia and New Zealand, F1 2014 is set to hit store shelves on October 16th on PlayStation 3, Xbox360 and Windows PC platforms. This will be the last time the F1 series is released on last generation consoles, with Codemasters making the jump to a PlayStation 4 / Xbox One / Windows PC trio from 2015.
