Ubisoft have today announced that their turn-based RPG Child of Light is now available for purchase digitally and at retail outlets on the PlayStation Vita. This follows their original April 2014 multiplatform release of the game on most current and last generation consoles.

Featuring bright and vivid environment designs that have become a hallmark of the UbiArt Engine it was built on, Child of Light is an all-around impressive game that walked away with a commendable A- grade in an earlier review on The Otaku’s Study.

Child of Light is available as either a $19.75 digital standard edition which features the game and nothing else, while for $39.95 you can pick up a Complete Edition which includes all released DLC content via the PlayStation Store and retail outlets.

Child of Light is a re-imagining of classic fairytales set against a picturesque background inspired by the watercolor artworks of The Golden Age of Illustration. As a playable poem, Child of Light takes players on an extraordinary journey through the mystical world of Lemuria by putting them in the shoes of Aurora, a young princess who must win back the sun, the moon and the stars held captive by the mysterious Queen of the Night.

Don’t own a PlayStation Vita? Child of Light is also available on the PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Wii U, Xbox360 and Xbox One platforms,
