I know what you may be thinking…. “Not another action-adventure MMO to spend tens to hundreds of hours grinding in!”, as for myself at least that is a sort of generic, automated response for these sorts of games. But does this next one offer anything that sets of apart from the others? Carbine Studios have announced the official launch of their new online game WildStar, which claims that it brings “a fresh look and feel to a stagnant category as it is rich in personality, fast-paced action orientated combat, epic raids, competitive PvP and tailored content to satisfy every type of gamer – all wrapped up in a tiny little bow”.
Given my schedule at the moment with end of semester assignments and E3 on going, I most probably won’t get around to checking it out for myself… but check out the games official website for more information. While the game has now launched, it is still in “Headstart” period, meaning that players will need to pre-order and join the headstart program before it is launched to everyone in about two days time.
