While we have yet to receive an official release date announcement, ATLUS USA have today confirmed that there will be two editions of Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth when it launches. The first edition will be the standard retail edition with a starting price of $49.99, while the second will be a “The Wild Cards” premium edition which has been pictured above, at a price of $79.99. There will also be a few first run / pre-order bonuses available as well. ATLUS USA have provided a warning that this special edition will only be available in limited quantities, and that “getting pre-orders in by around mid-July 2014 is cruicial to ensuring you receive the bonus first printing run bonuses.

The first print run bonuses include:

  • Tarot Card Set #2 – The collection of the iconic Tarot Cards used as evokers in Persona 4 are being released as a collector’s set across Persona 4 Arena Ultimax and Persona Q Set #2 will include the Tarot Cards of Arcanas XI – XXI
  • Special Packaging – The first run of PQ items will come in a special package.

The more impressive “The Wild Cards” premium edition will come with the following goodies:

  • Tarot Card Set #2 – Same as above
  • Art Booklet – Collection of some of the amazing new artwork that went into Persona Q
  • Soundtrack CD – CD with the Persona Q soundtrack highlights by the ATLUS sound team
  • Deluxe Hard Case for 3DS XL – This hard case, previously available only in Japan,is coming to North America and features Persona Q designs and will house a 3DS XL

For those not interested in the contents of each edition (or like me reside in a PAL region where the fate of this game is currently uncertain), they have also released a new E3 2014 trailer.
