Narration should never be a major determining factor in how good a video game is, but The Stanley Parable HD and its predecessor broke that general rule by being all about pissing off and pretty much defying what the omnipresent narrator tells you. Voiced by British voice actor Kevan Brighting, his voice and the clever writing complement each other to provide a humorous experience each and every playthrough.
The good news is that this omnipresent narrator is no longer confined to just The Stanley Parable, with the launch of The Stanley Parable Announcer Pack for DOTA 2, which will replace the default announcer and mega-kills announcer with the sardonically meta wit presented by Brighting. The pack only costs $9.99 (Currently: $8.99), and going from a preview on Youtube there seems to be plenty of lines to enjoy throughout your playthrough.
