While this announcement should come as no surprise given the English localization was confirmed through the Australian Classification Board (Who have pretty much classified it as the most violent video game in Australia), Mindscape have today confirmed that it will be them publishing Atelier Rorona Plus: The Alchemist of Arland in Australia. As with Europe, this game will be available both physically and digitally on the PlayStation 3 and digitally via the PlayStation Vita. Irrespective of the console, the JRPG is set to be available for purchase from June 19th, 2014.
Atelier Rorona was the first PlayStation 3 release in Gust’s long-running Atelier franchise and brought many features that fans have come to both love and hate in the series – strict time limits, a greater emphasis on alchemy and an almost guarantee to have a playable female protagonist. The game will once again see you controlling Rorolina “Rorona” Frixell, a young girl who is assigned to complete alchemy tasks over three years in order to keep her alchemy workshop from being shut down.
