With Watch_Dogs having recently gone gold, Ubisoft have not waited long to announce their next major IP release. The international publisher has today confirmed that Far Cry 4 is set to be available on the PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox360 and Xbox One video game platforms from November 20th, 2014. Development is once again being headed up by Ubisoft Montreal, with support from Red Storm Entertainment, Ubisoft Toronto, Ubisoft Shanghai and Ubisoft Kiev.
In Far Cry 4, players find themselves in Kyrat, a breathtaking, perilous and wild region of the Himalayas struggling under the regime of a despotic self-appointed king. Using a vast array of weapons, vehicles and animals, players will write their own story across an exotic open-world landscape.
Information is sparse at this time, but they plan to announce many more details during E3 2014.
