With less than two months to go until Gust release their next Atelier game for the PlayStation 3, Atelier Shallie: Alchemists of the Dusk Sea, the developer has shared a new set of screenshots for the game which highlights the inclusion of two new characters, the usual alchemy synthesis system and more.
Wilbell voll Erslied, the travelling witch is set to make her third appearance in Atelier Shallie as a playable character. She continues to travel around the world in search of spirits to form contracts with them, however after assisting Shallote one day finds herself as a teacher. The second new character has been announced as Homura, a homunculus whose race has served a role very similar to the Chim’s in the Alchemists of Arland trilogy. He is a friendly treasure hunter with a soft spot for sweets, and according to the new screenshots will also serve as a party member.
These two along with every other party member will have some a series of Unique Character Events associated with them throughout the game, providing a unique look into their backstory and personality, and quite possibly unlocking a few different endings.
