Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth – Battle System Trailer

-

Been feeling a bit tired of all the character oriented trailers for Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth which have focused on characters that you have played as multiple times during the two most recent major numbered Persona instalments? The good news is that last week should have wrapped up the trailers for all the main characters, freeing up ATLUS’ resources to focus on something a bit more gameplay oriented… the battle system

The above minute and a half long trailer takes you through a standard battle, from running into an enemy on the field, fighting against them with different skills and finally concluding with the Battle End screen. With quite a few lyrical tracks making their rounds for the game, it also highlights what the battle theme will be for Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth.

Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth is set for release on the 5th June 2014 within Japan exclusively on the Nintendo 3DS, with ATLUS USA also confirming a later North American release, and (hopefully) a swift PAL region release.

Legend has it that listening to the end of the bell chimes of Yasogami High’s clock tower causes people to die, and this time the bell tolls for the Investigation Team and the SEES. Trapped in an other-world filled with Shadows, the protagonists from Persona 3 and Persona 4 each have different events to follow, allowing the player to choose and experience two different plotlines. As both groups seek a way out of the labyrinth, they will run in to two new characters, Rei and Zen, who may hold the secret to this new mystery
