Gust have to date been very conservative with releasing information and screenshots for their 16th Atelier game which has been officially titled Atelier Shallie. Finally the floodgates have been removed with a torrent of new screenshots highlighting many of the games battle systems including the slightly improved battle system, delivery of the storyline and information on three new characters who will be appearing in either a party-member or support capacity.
The new party members have been confirmed as 20-year-old treasure hunter Jurie Crotze voiced by Kanae Itou (伊藤かな恵) and 16-year-old Miruca Crotze voiced by Rina Hidaka who is another alchemist. While it doesn’t seem like he will be holding a playable role in this game either, Solle Grumman has been confirmed as returning in Atelier Shallie. Currently he is the only returning character announced – unlike the Alchemists of Arland trilogy that saw half the playable character cast in Totori and Meruru consisting of returning faces.
