Been wondering where Compile Heart will be taking their Hyperdimension Neptunia (Chōjigen Game Neptune) series once they finish up with Chōjigen Game Neptune Re;Birth 2 Sisters Generation? During a dedicated session at this weekends Dengeki Game Festival, the developer confirmed that two new games are in production for the franchise.
The first has been confirmed as Chōjigen Action Neptune U which has been described as an action game for an unknown platform. While you may be inclined to think that the game is headed to the Nintendo U based on its title, details are set to be announced on the 10th April edition of Dengeki PlayStation which indicates a PlayStation console for release.
The second Neptunia game in their line-up is titled Hyperdimension Neptunia VII – Victory II (Chōjigen Game Neptune VII). While even fewer details are available on this title, assumingly it will be an RPG follow up to Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory and be on either the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 or PlayStation Vita. More information on this game is also set to be available in the same issue of Dengeki PlayStation.
