After more than a decade of not receiving a re-release, the PlayStation 2 Classic RPG’s Final Fantasy X and Final Fantasy X-2 are now available for purchase in North America as part of the one Final Fantasy X / X-2 HD Remaster collection. Exclusive to the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita, RPG veterans and newcomers alike will be able to follow Tidus’ and Yuna’s journeys across Spira in high definition.
As the title makes clear, this is not just a direct port but has been enhanced visually and contains features not present in any of the prior English releases. The story has also been continued by the inclusion of the “Last Mission” chapter and never-before-seen 30 minute audio drama that goes along with the main credits.

With this remaster, we wanted to service our community by bringing back two of the most cherished titles in the series. We’ve spent a lot of time completely remastering the game and the final high-definition experience is a true testament to the team’s hard work. We can’t wait for the fans to re-experience the gorgeous world of Spira.
