Following what the company are heralding as the most successful Xbox launch in history and the very strong reception for their Xbox console-exclusive launch of TitanFall, Microsoft have finally decided to confirm more details about their launch of the Xbox One in markets that are currently without. The console publisher has recently confirmed that they will be launching the Xbox One in twenty-six new markets from September this year. While remaining tight lipped on any further specifics, expect to hear more on this announcement in late-April.
The following regions will be the next to receive the Xbox One:
- Argentina
- Belgium
- Chile
- Colombia
- Czech Republic
- Denmark
- Finland
- Greece
- Hungary
- India
- Israel
- Japan
- Korea
- Netherlands
- Norway
- Poland
- Portugal
- Russia
- Saudi Arabia
- Singapore
- Slovakia
- South Africa
- Sweden
- Switzerland
- Turkey
- UAE
Don’t get me wrong, I am ecstatic that gamers in even more regions will finally be able to enjoy the rather nice compilation of Xbox One titles currently available on the market, in addition to those released between now and September. However with the latest sales statistics between Microsoft and Sony putting the Xbox One behind the PlayStation 4, you have to wonder why they haven’t been able to push the console out faster than in five to six months time.
