In something that doesn’t often happen between publishers, it was announced a couple of weeks ago that 2K Games and Bethesda Softworks would be teaming up to release new “Legendary Bundles” for two of their titles each. Coming in two flavors (Skyrim x BioShock Infinite AND Borderlands 2 x Dishonored), both sets are now available for purchase within North America at $29.99 each on the Xbox360, PC and PlayStation 3 gaming platforms.

When you think of the best games of the modern era, you think of Skyrim, BioShock Infinite, Borderlands 2, and Dishonored. Combined, these four instant classics have sold tens of millions of copies worldwide, and have been recognized by hundreds of critics as the best in the industry, and now 2K and Bethesda Softworks are offering these games at an incredible value.

Not only have these games been critical successes, but they have also won the hearts of gamers everywhere. Each of these games has an extraordinarily passionate fan base and we look forward to seeing those grow even larger as more people get to explore these fully-realized worlds.
While I don’t really get why these two publishers needed to team up with each other when alone their two titles would have gone nicely together as individual bundles… it is good to see the pair working together to deliver fans something of value. The question is just how many people would buy these packs, as all four games have sold very well in the past.
