While it is usually safe to assume that Namco Bandai Games Australia will be handling distribution of NIS America titles in Australia and New Zealand, it is not possible to rule out a different release date for it. The publisher have confirmed that Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc will be released in the PS Vita in supported regions from the 14th February 2014 in both retail and digital form.

The game is a revised and revamped edition of the first Danganronpa that was originally released on the Vita in Japan in 2010. You’ll take on the role of Makoto Naegi, a desperately average teenager who somehow finds himself accepted into Hope’s Peak Academy, a prestigious high school normally reserved for the nation’s most “ultimate” students. But when he arrives, he and the other students soon find themselves trapped in a battle for survival against a twisted mastermind who has taken them all prisoner. You’ll have to unmask the villain and uncover the secret of the school…or die trying!

Check back on The Otaku’s Study next month for my review of the game!
