It is a title that only comes around once every Nintendo console generation, and with the Wii U set to face fierce competition at the hands of their next-generation console competitors it is good to see that Nintendo have decided to play the “Mario Kart” card in 2014.
In this latest trailer for Mario Kart 8, we are shown a number of characters who will be making a reappearance or their first appearance in the kart-racing series including Rosalina (Will 2014 be the Year of Rosalina?), Baby Mario, Baby Luigi, Baby Peach and Baby Daisy. The video also highlighted several new tracks including Sunshine Airport, a desert field and a stage high in the clouds.
Keep an eye out for Mario Kart 8 when it launches in Autumn 2014.
