While it may not be as notable as their recent “Download for Free” campaigns surrounding BLOODMASQUE, Square Enix have today announced that their action-RPG Deus Ex: The Fall is now available to purchase for $0.99 on iOS devices as part of a Christmas sale until the 2nd January 2014.
Deus Ex: The Fall is currently going for around 85% off the original price that it has been going for via the Apple App Store, although with Square Enix being one of the pricier mobile app publishers on the market, it would have been nice if they offered more than just one title for this percentage off.
Deus Ex: The Fall is set in 2027 – a golden era for science, technology and human augmentation, but also a time of great social divide and global conspiracy. Powerful corporations have seized control from governments and command the drug supply needed by augmented humans to survive.
