Simcity: Cities of Tomorrow Launch Trailer Makes One Last Attempt to Win Gamers Over to Try Out the Game Again

-

One could hardly say that SimCity launched successfully earlier this year, with the main highlight of the game being actually able to access the game kudos of the always-online servers that were becoming clogged with new players trying to login to get their chance of building the cities of their dreams. Fortunately the development team have in the past few months been regularly updating the game to add much requested features and stability options, and are soon to launch the games very first expansion pack.

The first and possibly only expansion pack for the game is SimCity: Cities of Tomorrow, which to some small degree ties in with the final Sims 3 expansion pack The Sims 3: Into the Future. Featuring (potentially) killer robots, futuristic RCI buildings and the opportunity to lead your Sims into a green or “OmegaCo” industrial future, the fate of your cities or set of cities is in your hand Mayor.

You could go green and establish The Academy in your city – save the trees and research new technologies like the MagLev. The big drawback, it’ll cost your Sims a lot of money. Or you could be greedy and invest in OmegaCo. Your city will be consumed by OmegaCo factories and shops as you watch the money roll in. You will have to pillage and plunder your natural resources, but that’s all in the name of success, right?

As with most expansion packs you will require the base game to be able to work with Cities of Tomorrow, which is set to launch on the 14th November 2013.
