It seems like that the international release date of Final Fantasy X | X-2 HD Remaster will be pushed back until 2014, with it today being announced that the collection is to be released in Japan on the 26th December 2013.
The HD Remaster set consists of both Final Fantasy X and Final Fantasy X-2, both originally developed for the Playstation 2 and is the first time either title has been re-released on another console. The Playstation 3 collection will consist of both titles at a Japanese price of 7,140 yen at retail and 6,400 yen as a download title. On the Playstation Vita both titles will be released individually at a price of 3,900 yen at retail and 3,600 yen at download. A twin pack will also be available at Playstation 3 prices.
What is also interesting is that they have confirmed Final Fantasy X-2 Last Mission for inclusion in Final Fantasy X-2 HD Remaster. This was originally a Japan-exclusive title which was never localized into English and features a number of exclusive gameplay changes.
