Despite what could easily have been considered low odds, earlier this year Sega came out and confirmed that they would be publishing Hatsune Miku: Project Diva F to international markets at the end of August 2013.
With its release date now less than half a month away, Sega have shared a new trailer for the title featuring two songs: “Sebonzakura” and “Acute” (By Kurousa P.). The trailer also highlights a number of the stage designs, outfits and characters that will be included in the release.
Despite the growing popularity of Hatsune Miku and the Vocaloid series with international audiences, this will be the first installment of the Hatsune Miku video game franchise to be localized into English and released outside of Japan. This is in stark contrast to Japan where the video game releases have seen success on a number of consoles including the Playstation Portable, Playstation Vita, Playstation 3 and even the Nintendo 3DS.
The game is to be published in North America on the Playstation 3 both physically and digitally on the 27th August 2013. A PAL region release will be close behind but available only via the Playstation Store.
