All Interactive Entertainment, the Australian publisher of Saints Row IV who have put up with quite a lot for the classification of the game have finally confirmed that Australia will be receiving the game a little later than initially planned. They have penned in the 12th September 2013 for the PC and Xbox360 editions of the game and the 19th September 2013 for the Playstation 3 edition. They claim that despite every effort that was made to keep the games release in line with the rest of the world, the production process warranted these delays.

Australian fans of Saints Row IV will obviously be disappointed with this delay. We have used every means at our disposal to minimise the delay, but unfortunately it just was not possible to keep the same street date as the rest of the world.
As a thank you for their patience, All Interactive Entertainment will be giving all Australians who pre-order the game in store and collect it within 48 hours of launch a free Presidential Pack DLC code. The Presidential Pack DLC is only available in very limited numbers and contains masks and outfits to dress the President of the United Saints as some of the most famous American Presidents.
While there remains the option to import, given these guys have pretty much fought to have this game released in Australia (Following two submissions coming back with Refused Classification), I personally think for this action alone you should consider waiting if at all possible.
