When it comes to certain video game releases, sometimes it is hard to tell if Australia falls under the North American, PAL or another completely different release date. Namco Bandai Games Australia who work alongside Nippon Ichi Software America in bringing their titles to Australia and New Zealand have confirmed that with Disgaea D2: A Brighter Darkness, they will be releasing the game simultaneously with the earlier PAL release date (26th September 2013).
Exclusive for the Playstation 3 and as part of the 20th Anniversary celebrations for Nippon Ichi Software, Disgaea D2: A Brighter Darkness serves as a chronological sequel to Disgaea: Hour of Darkness on the PS2, PSP and DS – which is also celebrating its tenth anniversary. With a completely new and original storyline, it offers game system refinements that will entice new fans, while still offering the same kind of hardcore, over-the-top, endless gameplay that if past releases are anything to go by should appeal to fans.
