While you don’t see it as much nowadays, in generations of gaming consoles gone past (In particular the Nintendo 64 from memory), the games held unlockable cheat codes that allowed you edit your characters appearance – from making them taller / smaller, have bigger or smaller heads or even just make their arms or legs particularly long. This is the inspiration for the latest event to be run by En Masse Entertainment this week for TERA Online – even if only temporarily.
From selected monsters throughout the game world, you will be able to obtain four different items that when used can temporarily alter your characters appearance. It is recommended to horde them up as once the week-long event is over there is no guarantee you will see them again. The four items are:
- Shape Changer: Grow makes you bigger and taller for ten minutes (or until you enter combat). You can stack these together to increase your size three times over!
- Shape Changer: Shrink makes you smaller and shorter for ten minutes (or until you enter combat). You can also stack up to three of these together.
- Shape Changer: Big Head lets you practice your bobble-head imitation for ten minutes.
- Shape Changer: Head Restore returns your giant head to its normal size.

The event is set to begin at 12PM on the 17th July 2013 and run until the 24th July 2013 at the same time.
