A couple of months ago there was a rumor that Namco Bandai would be releasing a HD Collection based on Tales of Symphonia and Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World. While they were silent on this announcement, it was today announced at the Tales of Festival that this is in-fact a reality and will be released on the Playstation 3 video game console exclusively. This is in contrast to the international releases of both games that were only on the Nintendo Gamecube and Nintendo Wii originally.
This collection is to be released internationally in Early 2014, the early release in comparison to say…. Tales of Xillia being due to the localization and dubbing work already having been completed. Having missed the opportunity to play Tales of Symphonia initially, I am very ecstatic about this announcement!
