The Japanese mobile video game publisher KEMCO have today announced a rather significant sale on two of their titles for the iPhone and iPod Touch via the official Apple App Store. Two of their RPG’s – DarkGate and Alphadia II starting from today will be available at a mere 99 cents, a total of 86% off the usual retail price of $6.99. While specifics regarding the length of time this sale will be on is unknown – they have hinted that it will only be for a limited time only.
Dark Gate
Monsters, once sealed, have started to appear. After investigation, the guild discovered the cause of these monsters to be abnormal rifts, each called a “Dark Gate”. Leo and company must seek help from each guild to destroy the “Dark Gates”…
Alphadia II
Alphadia II takes players on an unforgettable adventure 200 years after the events of the first Alphadia. Though after seemingly being lost to the inhabitants of the world, energi once again makes its appearance, and before long begins to drive opposing powers into an all out scramble to take control of this ever diminishing resource.

Given that I do not personally own either an iPhone or iPod Touch (I prefer a trusty iPod Classic and iPad) there is a reasonable chance there will not be a review for either of these titles posted up on The Otaku’s Study – but given their price either or both of these titles could very well be up your alley.
