As I have done since their 2010 E3 appearance, I logged into Playstation Home to take part in their annual virtual booth. I went in expecting the usual suspects – a number of first party titles such as Tearaway, The Last of Us and BEYOND: Two Souls as well as a couple of third party titles such as Assassin’s Creed IV and Diablo III – I got pretty much all of that.
What I was not expecting to see was one of the mini-quest lines dedicated to Namco Bandai’s upcoming JRPG release of Tales of Xillia, set to hit stores on the 6th August 2013 exclusively for the Playstation 3. While the quest only requires you to take the above photo with main characters Jude Mathis and Milla Maxwell, also in the virtual booth is a briefing on the game which was a nice touch overall.
Completing this short quest will net you a Tipo (Teepo internationally) trophy to proudly present in your Playstation Home apartment for all your friends to admire…. if you are unlike me and actually have people visit your apartment in PS Home.
Aside from the tedious key hunt quests, the virtual booth is pretty good – and you do net some decent dynamic themes and a 30-day Playstation Plus trial during it.
