While the recently preveiwed The Dark Sorcerer: A Next Gen Comedy may have only been a concept trailer for Quantic Dream using Playstation 4 technology, before the company makes the jump to the platform they still have their Playstation 3 title BEYOND: Two Souls to finalize and release.
BEYOND: Two Souls follows a similar gameplay style to Heavy Rain, in that rather it is an interactive cinema title rather than a full-on gameplay oriented title (Which as a lover of storylines is an added perk for me). Of course, as there have been so many years since Heavy Rain, Quantic Dream have worked on including many different elements to their game both animation wise and gameplay wise which is the focus of their latest trailer. Movement controls, the interaction system and the action system are all of focus here – especially the action system which replaces the original QTE system with a bullet time gesture system using the right analogue stick.
