While Aksys Games have yet to formally announced their acquisition of Arc System Works’ latest installment in their arcade fighting franchise Blazblue, the official Playstation Youtube Channel alludes to the announcement. As part of their E3 trailer set, Sony Computer Entertainment have put up a trailer for BlazBlue Chrono Phantasma which displays Aksys Games as the international localizer/publisher for the title.
If this holds true, then Zen United / Arc System Works Europe will more likely than not be serving as the PAL region publisher for the game. BlazBlue Chrono Phantasma follows on after the events of BlazBlue: Continuum Shift and is set for release in Japan on the 24th October 2013 exclusively to the Playstation 3. No international release date has been given.
