Square Enix have today released a new set of screenshots for the upcoming revival of Final Fantasy XIV, which when originally launched a couple of years back suffered from average to poor reception from gaming media and a less than stellar reception from fans (Although did manage to keep at least some stable subscriber numbers to warrant this revival). A Realm Reborn is set to bring the game hopefully up to the standards that an installment in the Final Fantasy franchise deserves.
These new images feature some of the locations that can be found throughout the areas of Eorzea.
Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn is slated to enter its third closed beta phase during June, and while unlocking even more content for the testers to explore will also open the doors to the Playstation 3 version for the very first time…. with cross-platform compatibility to boot!
