After many, many months of promoting and well…. trailers, Crystal Dynamics and Square Enix have finally released Tomb Raider on store shelves – for each the Playstation 3, XBox360 and Windows PC.

Creating something truly special is incredibly challenging. You have got to really want it: you have to be passionate; you have to care about it, and you have to dedicate yourself. We have a studio full of talented people who have put their hearts into making this game – this is not just a game on their resume, speak to any one of them, they’ve been on a journey. We hope that the game we’ve built will endure and that this is a well deserving renaissance for Lara Croft.
If you are not familiar with the game, check out the blurb below:
Written by Rhianna Pratchett and John Stafford, with music composed by Jason Graves, TOMB RAIDER explores the intense origin story of Lara Croft and her ascent from an untried and untested young woman to a hardened survivor. Armed only with raw instincts and the ability to push beyond the limits of human endurance, Lara must fight to unravel the dark history of a forgotten island to escape its relentless hold. For the first time, the game also features a multiplayer campaign developed by Eidos Montréal, a Square Enix studio.
