Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots has been a phenomenal success and one of the most highly regarded titles of all time. As such, we have very high expectations for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. We are confident that the FOX Engine will both expand and revolutionise the METAL GEAR SOLID series and will provide the customary high-quality and immersive experiences that are associated with all titles provided by Kojima Productions.

First unveiled in Metal Gear Solid: Peace walker, the new Metal Gear Solid V trailer shows the fall of Mother Base and provides visual hints that unveil the connection between this title and Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes.

It is actually a bit surprising that given the release of next-generation consoles this year, that they would not be expanding its release on the Playstation 4 (and whatever the new Microsoft console will be called). Given that Metal Gear Solid IV is one of the best looking Playstation 3 titles – why not potentially claim the title early for the PS4?
