Kratos will rise again, with Sony Computer Entertainment Australia today confirming that their Playstation 3 exclusive title God of War: Ascension is now available in stores across Australia.
Rather than continuing on from previous console releases, God of War: Ascension is a prequel that will show Kratos’ emotional path of vengeance, while detailing the rise of his rage to break free from Ares’ bond. Bringing what they hope is the epic cinematic storytelling, visceral battles and blockbuster moments the series has been known for – the title comes with several enhancements including a revamped combat system and all-new online multiplayer mode.
Developed by the SCE Santa Monica Studio, God of War: Ascension is yet another title that has been classified as R18+ in Australia – citing High Impact Violence (With the same level of violence listed as the Playstation Vita port of the originally PG Playstation 3 game Atelier Totori)
