En Masse Entertainment have just released the launch trailer for the major update for TERA Online titled “TERA: Rising”, which also signifies that the servers are now live and ready for you to jump in and play.
While originally launching last year using the P2P mode – the publisher and developer Bluehole Studio have decided to implement a Free-to-play model into the game. TERA Online is now to be supported by a cash store featuring items such as mounts and costumes, as well as an “Elite Status” service which is run by a monthly subscription fee. Past and returning (paid) players will receive a similar “Founders” status which offers a number of perks as well.
