Nippon Ichi Software America (NIS America), the PAL region publisher for Persona 4 Golden (PS Vita) have today announced that the game is now available in the region through the Playstation Network – with a physical release slated for a few days time.

Persona 4 Golden is my Game of the Year 2012 – and is an enhanced port of the original Persona 4 Playstation 2 title developed and published by ATLUS / ATLUS USA in 2008. The game offers remastered visuals, 1.5x the amount of voiced dialogue, a new dungeon, a new character, new social links and more. Persona 4 Golden was published late-2012 in North America by ATLUS USA – to read my review of the title click HERE

About the game:
A rumor has been spreading through the high school of a rural town: staring into the darkened screen of a powered-off television on a rainy night will reveal your one true love. But investigating this rumor uncovers a dark truth, and leads to an adventure through the strange world waiting on the other side of the TV screen…

Features:

  • A bigger, better version of one of the best RPGs ever: Improved visuals, new anime cutscenes, tons of new story and voiced dialogue, and much more, combined with deep turn-based combat, addictive character and Persona management, and a memorable cast of personalities.
  • Make meaningful bonds with characters via social links: In between its exploration, battles, and Persona management, Persona 4 Golden lets players choose how they wish to spend their time each day in a variety of different activities. What they opt to do and who they choose to spend time with can have a significant impact on their experience.
  • Will you uncover the true ending to the story?: Over 100 hours of gameplay thrusts you into a deep mystery where midnight television leads to serial killings. You must investigate murders, rescue those who can be rescued, and unmask the culprit behind it all… Or risk being forever shrouded in the fog of doubt.
