-

While some may have been wondering if Namco Bandai would release a 16th DLC set for their Playstation 3 edition of The Idolm@ster 2, it turns out that they only took a break in January and have come back with a brand new set this month which is set to go live on the 21st February.

The set does not feature the usual Floral, Starry or Luxury costumes – however in its place includes two EXTEND costumes – a School Cardigan and Traditional Maid outfits for use on all the girls at 1,500 yen each. In addition, five new accessories will be made available – Neck Headphones, Daypack Shawl, Handy Megaphone and a Teddy Bear all for 300 yen apiece and an Academic Hat which is being given out for free. Finally, a brand new song titled “Thanks for the Memories” or 思い出をありがとう which can also be purchased at the usual price of 1,200 yen. Collecting all DLC goodies will net you a bonus Angel Bangle accessory, while the EX Costumes and Accessories are available in packs pried at 2,480 and 980 yen respectively.

This set is only available on the Playstation 3 at this time, with the last set (#14) being released for the XBox360 version in March 2012.
