On Christmas Day last year (more or less), Compile Heart announced that they would be developing and releasing a sequel to Mugen Souls (Titled: Mugen Souls Z) on the Playstation 3 this year, and have recruited yet another “Keiji Inafune” to work on it. While in the last game the New Keiji Inafune did not have any importance to the actual game, he turned into a recurring character within the games trailers – and this second trailer focuses on him as he is rejected by the games main character Surma.

Voice Actress: Sachika Misawa (Kuroyukihime in Accel World)
Title: Ultimate God
The protagonist of Mugen Souls Z who has just woken up from a long slumber and missing many of her memories. But she does remember her name and that she is the ultimate god. She carries around a coffin with her, which while seemingly doubling as a bed also serves as a weapon.
Nao
Voice Actress: Rie Kugimiya (Haruka Sawamura – Yakuza Series)
Title: Apprentice Hero
A person of common sense and who recently awoke to the power of the hero for the 12 realms. Along her journey, she comes across Surma and decides to look after her.
Ace
Voice Actress: Yoshitsugu Matsuoka
Title: Ultimate God Hunter
A mysterious boy who (as his title suggests), intends to take Surma’s life. Has a wild and aggressive nature, and whose currently revealed role in this game is to stand in the way of Surma and Nao alongside his partner wyvern/dragon.
