To be released on the Playstation Network today, Sixense are introducing Playstation Move support to Portal 2 along with bonus paid DLC test chambers which will test your skills of what you previously know, and what this update packs into the game. The three new gameplay mechanics in this release are as follows:
One-to-One Mechanic: Allows the player to manipulate objects as if they were held in his or her own hand, giving the ability to change the object’s position and orientation by moving and rotating the Move motion controller.
Portal Surfing Mechanic: The ability to move and rotate a portal along a “portalable” surface. Portal Surfing allows you to change an object’s trajectory as it passes through a portal by rotating the portal.
Scaling: Performed by reaching out with the Move controller while holding a cube in the game, pressing the scaling button and moving the controller horizontally to increase or decrease the size of the cube.
